Personal life

He was born in Hermiston, Oregon and went to high school in this area. Zabransky’s major was in Communications and he graduated as one of the outstanding students on the Dean’s List. Throughout his years at Hermiston High School, he played basketball, football and baseball.

Jared get married to Melissa Belin on the 31st of May, 2008 in what could be described as a luxurious destination wedding ceremony at the Bentwater Yacht and Country Club located at Lake Conroe. The couple had the ceremony outdoor beneath a gorgeous gazebo exclusively designed for the wedding day. The reception was equally beautiful with romantic lights supplied by LD Systems, along with centerpieces and flowers furnished by Bergner and Johnson. This occasion turned out to be a stunning affair and everything was created by Melissa’s mom Blair. The whole affair went on without a single hitch and she should definitely be congratulated for putting on such a magnificent event.

Jared Zabransky states that he knew Melissa would be his wife from the moment they met at a nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona. He proposed later to Melissa at a golf course. Following this, Melissa started to make plans for their wedding with the help of her mother. They set up gift registry visits at Macy’s and Bering’s, check with different vendors and ordered invitations at Bering’s to be distributed. Additionally, there were wine parties held with the intention of tying programs and assembling fans.

In all the buildup events to the wedding, Jared and Melissa hosted dinners on weekend, golfing and other celebrations which attracted over 150 friends and family to Houston.

On the wedding day, over 300 guests accompanied the couple at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club. The bride was dressed in one of Melissa Sweet’s gown and bridesmaids donned Melissa Sweet dresses in green color, all arrived from Priscilla in Boston. This day was extremely beautiful and the club did not only design a genuine garden for this occasion, but also integrated an Italian event gazebo that was covered in greenery and roses. The whole event was really amazing with white and light pink rose petals covering the stone in the middle of the aisle.

For the reception, the couple’s personalities were infused and it definitely showcased an event fitting for young people. There was an eight foot ice fountain displaying crab claws, lobsters and shrimp cocktail for the guests, while an ice bar of eight foot long was lit with green and pink lights served green apple and pomegranate martinis.

The wedding cake was designed by Nadine Moon and shown Boise State football field honoring the groom, who was playing as quarterback in the 2007 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl when they won against Oklahoma. The photographs were taken by David Jones and video was done by Mitch Daniels.

After Jared Zabransky wedding day, he and Melissa relocated to Houston during the off season. They lived in Pittsburgh because Jared was just signed to play as quarterback for Pittsburgh Steelers.
